I searched online for any fixes and found ThirteenAG's and Aero_'s Widescreen Fixes Pack (WFP) for Silent Hill 2 PC, which improves certain aspects of the game. I then tried out the PC version, as it can display nicely on modern screens, but the PC version has a lot of issues going on with it. This made it exceptionally hard to play a dark horror game like Silent Hill 2.
